Ivermectin is a single microorganism that was originally discovered and isolated in the late 1970s from Japanese soil and it has had an immeasurably beneficial impact in improving the nutrition, general health, and wellbeing of billions of people throughout the world.
Originally introduced as a veterinary drug it was first used in humans in 1988. It is known as “the wonder drug” and has won a Nobel prize in 2015 for treatment of infectious diseases.
